Materials

  1.     Big fish belly - 6 pieces
  2.     Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  3.     Boiled potatoes - 1
  4.     Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  5.     Coriander leaves - 2 teaspoons
  6.     Pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  7.     Salt- to taste
  8.     Tomato ketchup - 2 teaspoons
  9.     Eggs - 1
  10.     Cornflower - 1 tablespoon
  11.     Chaat masala- 1/2 teaspoon
  12.     Kalojira - 1/2 teaspoon
  13.     Oil- for frying

Preparation of fish cutlets

1) In this recipe you can use rui, katla, vhetki, pangas or any big fish belly. First put a pan on the stove and put the fish pieces in it with a little water. You also have to add a little salt.

2) After a while, the water will be dried and the fish will be boiled. Then remove the oil part of the fish and mash it with a fork.

3) Now in a separate bowl, boil the potatoes, coriander leaves, salt, soy sauce, kalojira, chaat masala, mashed fish, tomato ketchup, pepper powder and lemon juice and spread well.

4) Then beat the egg and mix cornflower in it and pour it in the mixture. All the ingredients have to be squeezed together.

5) Apply a little oil on the palm of your hand and take a little bit of this mixture of fish and shape it in the shape of a cutlet and roll it in dried cornflower. Shape the cutlet into small or medium size as per your choice.

6) On the other hand, let the oil heat in a pan. You can deep fry this cutlet i.e. deep fry it. You can also fry it with a little oil.

6) When the oil is hot, leave the fish cutlets in the pan one by one. When one side is fried, turn it over carefully.

6) Since the fish has already been boiled, so there is no need to fry too much! Once golden in color, remove from the oil and place on kitchen tissue. It will absorb extra oil.
