What kind of name are you thinking? This is a very popular dish! It is a great combination of orange juice and chicken. This orange chicken tastes great with polau, parota, naan, and even rice!




Materials

For the sauce-
  1.     Water - 1.5 cups
  2.     Orange juice - 2 tsp.
  3.     Lemon juice - 1/4 cup
  4.     Rice vinegar - 1/3 cup
  5.     Soy sauce - 2.5 tsp.
  6.     Orange peel Great - 1 tsp.
  7.     Brown sugar - 1 cup
  8.     Ginger sprouts - 1/2 teaspoon.
  9.     Garlic cloves -1 / 2 tsp.
  10.     Onion leaf sprouts - 2 tbsp.
  11.     Dried chilli powder - 1/4 tsp.
  12.     Cornflower - 3 tbsp.
  13.     Water - 2 tbsp.

For chicken-

  1.     2 chicken breasts - bone and skin peeling (2 inch grind)
  2.     Flour - 1 cup
  3.     Salt - 1/4 teaspoon.
  4.     Olive oil - 3 tsp.

How to cook Orange Chicken


 

1) First put 1.5 cups of water, orange juice, lemon juice, soy sauce in a pot - all together and heat over medium heat. Stir in the orange peel, brown sugar, ginger paste, garlic paste and onion paste. When the water boils, take it out of the oven and keep it aside and let it cool for 10-15 minutes.

2) Then take the chicken pieces in a pot and mix 1 cup of cold sauce with it and keep it in the fridge for 2 hours.

3) In another bowl, mix flour, salt and chilli powder and butter well with the chicken pieces.

4) Now, heat olive oil in a pan and brown the chicken pieces over medium heat.

5) Heat the remaining sauce in another pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp. Mix cornflower with water, mix this mixed cornflower in hot sauce and boil it. Then cook the chicken pieces in this thick sauce for 5 minutes.
 

So, serve hot now and enjoy the fun tasting orange chicken!
