Today I came up with another fun chicken recipe called Chicken Pot Pie. It can be easily made in a very short time. Let's take a look at the whole process.

 

 


Ingredients for making chicken pot pie
  1.     Potatoes cut into small dice - 2 cups
  2.     Carrots cut into slices - 1 cup
  3.     Butter - 1 cup
  4.     Onion - 2 cups
  5.     Flour - 1 cup
  6.     2 teaspoons of salt
  7.     Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  8.     Chili powder - 3 teaspoons
  9.     Chicken broth - 3 cups
  10.     Milk - 1.5 cups
  11.     Boneless Chicken Cube Boiled - 4 cups
  12.     Frozen corn - 1 cup
  13.     Frozen peas - 1 cup
  14.     Pie crust - 4 sheets

How to make chicken pot pie

- First pre-heat the oven to a temperature of 425 degrees. In a saucepan, add potatoes, carrots and water to boil. When it becomes thick, reduce the temperature of the oven and let it cook for 8-10 minutes. When done, drain the water.

- Heat the butter in a large pan. Add onion and cook on low heat till soft. Serve with thyme, chilli powder, salt. Serve with chicken broth and milk. Mix everything well. Cook until the whole mixture thickens. Add chicken, peas, corn and potato mixture at the end. Take it off the stove.

- Take a pie crust in a bowl and pour the chicken mixture over it. Top with another pie crust. Press the pair with your fingers all around and make a pair like Puli Pie. Place 4 cut marks on the pie with a knife. Bake it in the oven for 30-40 minutes.

- When you see that the crust of the pie has become light brown, then you will understand that the pie has become a lot. When done, take it down.

Serve with great flavored chicken pot pie.
